We have one of the most diverse selections of Certified Organic seeds in Canada, and we add to this each year. Each spring we sell certified organic plants onsite.

Check out our 2009 Selections!

Our online catalogue has now been updated to reflect our 2009 offerings. We have added almost 60 additional heirloom seed varieties, including such rare selections as 'Henderson’s Bush Lima' bean, 'Agate' soybean, 'Citron' watermelon, Watermelon radish, 'Galilee' spinach and some rare/endangered bean and tomato varieties. To see a complete list of what's new, check New for 2009 in our online catalogue.

Of our 650 varieties of rare and endangered heirloom seeds, 340 are certified organic. Also, for our market grower & small farmer customers, we have increased both the number of seed varieties available in bulk quantities and the size of the bulk quantities.

The camera has been clicking away this summer and we've added loads of new pictures to the site.

Our organic heirloom plant sale days were very popular in 2008. In 2009, we will be open on May 23 & 24 and May 30-31.
Plant Sale Cancelled: we regret to announce that we have had to cancel our plant sale, originally scheduled for May 23/24 and May 30/31.

See details in the online catalogue under Vegetable Starter Plants. Look for an expanded selection of everything, but especially certified organic herb plants this year.

Many of us had a very challenging growing year in 2008. One of the attributes we've found so common to true gardeners and farmers is the ability to set aside bad experiences and exclaim "well, there's always next year! ". We 'd like to salute the eternal optimism of those who work with the land and nature and say "here's to a new year of great gardening!".

See if we'll be coming to a seed or gardening show near you! We love to talk about heirlooms!

Note - Due to recent U.S. changes in import regulations, we regret that we cannot ship seeds to the U.S. at this time.
