Red Mexican Bean
(Bush; 85 - 100 days) Aka 'Montezuma's Red'. Introduced in the U.S. in 1885, it is excellent for baking, soups, chili and re-fried beans. A deep red colour with a white eye, this small, kidney-type bean holds its shape and firmness when cooked and has a rich, full flavour. Drought-tolerant.
